Think Pink!

Posted on March 27, 2008 5 Comments

Oh so exciting! I got the red slip in the mail box late yesterday but had to wait till today to head into town to pick up my package from the gorgeous Lightening as part of her Smiley Saturday Swap!

The rules for the swap were simple – send your partner something pink to make them smile! This is what I found inside my package –
Smiley Saturday Swap!
A hand knitted facecloth/dishcloth! Oh ace! I’d been reading about these around the place and thought they sounded like a fab idea and I had ummed and ahhed about attempting one, but knitting is just not my thing, and thankfully now I don’t have to try it!
Izzy has been eyeing off the lush pink lip gloss ever since we opened the package. She keeps saying ‘but pink is for a princess Mamma…’ as if I am not a princess! ha!
Last but not least my very own Lightening Calendar Magnet – now my fridge will be the best dressed in town!

I am hoping (if Australia Post is good to me, and often it is not) that when the lovely Lightening gets back from her trip that there will be a pink package waiting for her too.. and I am especially hopeful that it might make her smile, just a little, as I think she could use a smile right now.

What a great swap!!! Everything is gorgeous… I’m a bit adicted to washcloths at the moment. You should give one ago, you’ll blow yourself away with how easy they really are… :)
