Weekly Winners… the Pathetic Edition.

Posted on February 15, 2009 14 Comments

I want to get out and take some photos. I make all these plans to spend time just mucking around with the camera. I want to take photos of special things.. not just happy snaps of my kids… images of life… something wonderful and amazing like Tiff does…. but it’s just not happening for me right now.

So here are my measly few ‘weekly winners‘. Thanks to Sarcastic Mom for making me get off my bum and at least put these up… but to be honest these are the best from the last few weeks. Never mind though, I’m sure the photo mojo will return one day.

It’s very dry and brown here at the moment… had to search for a little bit of green.

You must trust that every photographer has his/her own style and “eye”. Don’t compare, don’t rush, just develop your own; all else will fall into place.

That being said, your photos are wonderful!

    These are lovely, so lovely.

Do you ever start taking photographs of stuff around your house that seems “dumb” to take photos of? I do that when I’m in a rut, and so many times they turn out to be some of my favorites!

Trust in yourself. You are fabulous.

It’s quality, not quantity that count, and these are all beautiful! The Pensive Artist is my fave. I love your blog design too, really eye catching.

You are too hard on yourself. These are really really good! Everyone goes through stages where their photography doesn’t match up to their expectations, but usually, everyone else thinks the photos are just brilliant. It’s just that they are not exactly what you were striving for. They are still good even if you don’t think so. All these comments are just some of the proof of that!
