Why is it so hard to get a decent photo of my five year olds??
You’d think Muski, at not quite two, who doesn’t sit still, who never comes when you ask him to and who is more interested in putting his nose on the lens of my camera would be hard to photograph. But he is a breeze compared to his sisters!
They either make silly faces, or pose like ningbats, or close their eyes, or walk away or dance so fast all you get is a blur…. and if on the off chance you do get a decent shot, you realise later that their hair is matted in knots, or that they have texta ‘measles’ all over their faces, or they are wearing the same PJs that they put on three days ago.. complete with evidence of every meal since then.
But here they are anyway… in all their glory.. the only four decent shots I managed to get of my girls in a week of trying…
If you need help figuring out who is who… look closer at their smiles!
Weekly Winners is bought to you by the lovely Sarcastic Mom. Pop on over and say hi. And definitely say hit to all the other Winners this week, since we’ve been shaped (which means sloooooooooooooow net) already for this month it will take me a good five weeks to get through even half of the great blogs on the linky.
Your girls are both adorable. I love the ‘tooth-free’ smile.
You gotta love those fantastic, missing-tooth grins!!!
Love the first one!
Must be the age. My DD is 4.5 and acts the same silly way incl eyes closed, silly faces and moving too fast. If only we could make life stand still for a few moments. The pics are great and I am sure all the others were just as cute.
I LOVE the 2nd and 4th shots. Both have such beauty and personality! <3
Kate, they are gorgeous because they are bright, spirited and they show off your girls’ wonderful, bubbly personalities and in the end they are going to love those memories much more than the ‘look at the camera and smile’ shots. They will cherish those amazing photos that you’ve shown us.
Great shots. They really show off their personalities.
I love toothless grins!
They’re very pretty little girls!
