Weekly Winners… The Wedding Edition.

It’s over… finally…. it’s all over. Uncle Timmy is married to Aunty Yuakri and life can now return to normal for us all. Yay!

Grumpy Flower Girls

The bridal party.

wedding1
With the carriage the girls didn’t get to ride in…. hence to grumpy faces above.

wedding4
Carrying the veil is VERY serious business.

Now before you all flame me with comments… these are some of the photos that I took, hence why I am not in them. I sort of became a bit of a pack horse for the ceremony and didn’t take nearly as many photos as I wanted too, and by the reception I was kind of over it all… but I am sure my Dad took some great photos at the church (which you’ll let me share, won’t you Dad) and I’m sure there’ll be a photo of me somewhere along the line that I promise to share too.

Post your best shots for the week and play along with Weekly Winners over at Sarcastic Mom – go on, it’s loads of fun, you know you want to….

OMG, they are gorgeous! Beautiful girls, can’t wait to see pix of you too! My DD was a flower girl last November, and she took it *very* seriously, and loved the experience!

Can’t wait to hear more about how the night went! And see Muski!

Don’t they look gorgeous! Guerita was a flower girl 2 years ago and it was a very serious and stressful job! She hardly smiled all day after all the dress/hair/makeup palaver!
Looking forward to seeing pics of you…bet you’re glad it’s all over now. ;)

Beautiful! In my experience, flower girls are almost always grumpy. =)

I’d be grumpy like that too if I couldn’t ride in the carriage. :)

I was best woman at my sister’s wedding with my daughter and 2 of her hubby’s nieces as flower girls – they were all EXTREMELY grumpy by the end of the photo shoots and decided they did not want to be supermodels as it involved a lot of boring standing around and no food (save the small container of tiny teddies I had on hand).

So – where is your outfit?

It must be the mum thing. There are no photos of me from the family wedding (other than the professional ones that we are yet to see). Your girls looked gorgeous.
