Spring Things

October 12, 2010

Now that the weather is finally throwing in a few lovely days I have a list of ‘spring things’ I’d really like to do with the kids. I have no idea how we are going to squeeze these things in around everything else we have on between now and Christmas… but I’m going to try!

Go to the beach. Not so much to swim, though the big three will get wet regardless, but we want to collect shells and some more pebbles/rocks, and just enjoy being there.

Make more fairy crowns.

Make some paper bunting, in rainbow colours for a very special event that is coming up.

Visit Woodend Adventure Playground and have another go on the flying fox.

Paint, paint, and paint some more.

Make spider webs for our green beans to grow up. (from Knitting Iris)

Make fairy houses.

Find a creek near us, go for a paddle and launch some boats.

And there are so many other things I’d like to add to this list… Perhaps I’ll start a new list for the summer holidays!?!?

We headed to the beach on Sunday, lots of sand play and shell collecting. Never been to wood end park, think I might add it to our list.

That is without doubt the most beautiful fairy crown I have ever seen. Could be my favourite blog image this year :-)
