Things I Know

toy trains

I know…

… that no matter how many different pieces we have, we will never be able to make one train track that uses everything and all joins up.
… that a real friend will step around the baskets of unfolded laundry without even noticing them
… that if you click around in the internet long enough you are sure to find something good – How to be Delightfully Delusional
… that it’s going to be a looooong night, when the boy who hasn’t had a day sleep in more than two years falls asleep on the couch after lunch.
… that a teacher who can make his class laugh is worth his weight in gold.
… that when your friend starts a new linky, you should join in… so I am… and you should too!

Playing along with Yay For Home’s Friday tradition of ‘Things I Know’… there is a linky to sign up to now if you’d like to join in.

LOL, a real friend will not just walk over the laundry, but sit next to it and help you fold it, while discussing how that lingerie you bought on your last “Let’s get out of Maternity bra’s” shopping session came up in the wash. ;-)
Love it.

Ah yes my real friend would have been happy to sit and fold laundry with me.. though she knows me well enough to know that I don’t often waste time actually folding the washing, especially when we can chat and play with blogs instead :)

Kate I think a real friend would have started folding the laundry without taking a breath mid-conversation!
