silence

sleeping

The unlikely pair have escaped outside.
The other one is in her bed, reading.
The ‘baby’ is asleep on the couch, one leg sticking out from under the blanket.

I know I should wake him.

I can feel bed time getting harder and harder the longer I listen to his sleeping breath.

But the silence… oh the silence.

oh yeah…today my oldest was at kindy and my 2yo fell asleep on the couch… I traded 2 hours of silent bliss for what ever the hell I’m in for tonight!

I find waking my little one is hard, he doesn’t take kindly to it at all. If given a choice, I’d rather enjoy the peace now and deal with the night when it comes.

I hope bedtime wasn’t too hard

Oh, the silence is golden. I wouldn’t disturb that either. I’m getting a spell of it right now, and ahhhhhhhhh
