Creativity is Contagious…
I do lots of creative activities with my kids because I enjoy them as much as my kids do, but I know that sometimes, doing something arty can seem overwhelming, or difficult, but it doesn’t have to be.
I am a big believer that art for kids should be easy.
You don’t need to do fancy activities, that take a lot of time, or need a zillion expensive items to complete. Just getting out the pencils or the paint and mucking around is ok. It is enough.
You never know… you might get as much enjoyment out of it as your kids.
And if you don’t, and it’s all to much… it’s ok to let other people pick up the slack. It’s ok to let them paint at preschool or play group if it’s just not your thing.
