We also have a set of ice cream molds similar to these ones and an old Sunbeam icecream maker, similar to this one, which are lots of fun (affiliate links).
Well… it’s freezing cold in Tianjin, China… but I had to try out the Chocolate Dipped Frozen Bananas anyway… and what can I say: easy to make and very delicious, the kids (and I) loved them! I only found that it was kind of hard to put the chocolate on, since the texture of the frozen banana and the melted chocolate don’t quite agree with each other. So I added some milk and a little bit of butter to the chocolate, to make it smoother, and that did in fact work better…
So thanks for the recommendation, the kids have already asked for me to make them again, :-).
So long,
Corinna
Thanks for sharing the tip about adding some milk and butter! These are on our list for this week! Stay warm!
It was so good, in fact, that yesterday when the kids came home from school my son went straight into the kitchen to make new ones himself, :-).
I liked Summer fruit Sorbet a lot. I had no idea it would turn out so delicious. My kids loved it. I\’m definitely going to try other treats as well. Thanks for sharing.
