Is a male ballet dancer also called a BALLERINA???

Bettina is correct, a Danseur is the masculine equivalent.

Yep, like Bettina said, they are danseurs. Although the guys I used to dance with called themselves Ballerinos (for fun).

OMG, I’m digging ballerino! LOL At UrbanDictionary.com they have the first definition for ballerino listed as “a male ballerina (according to Jessica Simpson)” as in… “the ballerino in swan lake wore really nasty tight spandexy tights” ROFL!
