Fun Friendly Paper Ghosts - free printable

These friendly paper ghosts, are not too scary, and they are really easy to make with our free printable template.

They would make great Halloween decorations, or they’d be perfect for a spooky Friday the 13th party!

They are a fun, quick and easy, low-mess, Halloween craft for all ages.

My kids and I love mucking around with simple paper crafts, and these fun friendly paper ghosts are such a fun and simple paper craft, you have to give them a try!

You can make your paper ghosts as friendly, or as scary as you like. My kids opted for a bit of both!

These little ghosts make excellent Halloween decorations.

They stand up on their own, so you could pop a group of them on your mantle shelf, or as a table centerpiece. Or try adding some string and making them into a ghost mobile. Hang your ghosts in a window or doorway, or make a friendly paper ghost garland!

You can leave the ghosts plain white, or decorate them any way you like. Use some markers to add extra features, or some paint to add some colour. A string of neon paper ghosts would look really cool!

Make some Paper Ghosts

These paper ghosts are the perfect low-prep, low-mess craft activity for all ages.

To make the paper ghosts you’ll need:

Paper ghost printable templates (see below)
Paper
Printer
Scissors
Tape
Markers/paint (optional)
String (optional)

Print out the ghost templates on regular white printer paper and cut them out.

If you want to decorate your ghosts, do so while they are still flat. If you paint them, let them dry fully before the next step.

Carefully bend the paper around to form a ‘ghostly’ tube, and tape it together at the back

Stand your ghost up, or tape some string to the back of the tube, or the back of the ghosts head and hang him or her up.

We’ve made two different ghostly designs for you to use, but once you’ve got the idea, you’ll be able to create your own ghost designs without needing the printable template.

This printable is an A4 sized pdf file, you will need a pdf reader such as adobe acrobat to open it. If you are printing on US ‘letter sized’ paper be sure to select ‘fit’ or ‘shrink to fit’ from your printer options.
