We had the big ballet concert dress rehearsal yesterday.
Make-up, hair, costumes…. the whole she-bang.
Usually I’d have some photos to share today, except in the mad rush to get everyone ready, and out of the house before my car floated down the drive way by itself the camera somehow got left behind.
You see it rained here yesterday morning…
After a week of really warm weather it rained, poured, and bucketed down. Sixty something millimetres in about three hours which is rather impressive in anyone’s book but a right royal pain in the bum when trying to get two small girls to and from cars without their hair and make-up being ruined.
Somehow we managed it and the rehearsal went really well. The girls finally got to see and try on their wild cat costumes for their tap routine and they are totally wild. They also make rather cute lime green grasshoppers in the ballet too. But alas…. there will be no photos, unless I manage to snap a few back stage on the big day in a few weeks.
Sorry.
glad it all went well. I bet they looked adorable.
oh b*gger !
I do hope you get some photos would love to see them.
I hope it goes well.
We’ll just have to use our imaginations then!
I am sure they were gorgeous, hope someone sends you some photos. Good luck for the ‘real thing!’
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I have to do Em’s makeup next week…and I’m completely scared about it, I am NOT a makeup wearer. AND how to keep that darn curly wig on an almost four year old too…
Good luck for the real thing. I bet they were adorable.
I bet they looked spectacular :) Can’t wait to see some photos.
Our first dress rehearsal is next week… must hunt down something for Boo to wear, she’s a lost child in ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’
