It’s that time of year here in Australia… my kids are counting down the days, the school year is almost over!
That means it’s also time to wrap my head around teacher gifts, and we have a lot of fabulous teachers in our lives that we want to thank so I whipped up some printable thank you cards for my kids to decorate.
We have around 12 teachers we’d like to thank this year, and that’s a lot of cards to make! These printable thank you card starters make it easy to create lots of cards and still give them a personal touch.
Printable Thank You Card Starters.
With the help of my kids I designed three different thank you card starters.
All of these cards fit (folded) into a standard C6 sized (11.4cm x 16.2cm) envelope. And you can print them onto A4 (or letter sized) card stock with a regular inkjet printer.
Once printed they are ready to decorate and add your personal toches!
The first card we designed was a simple colour-in card, and it turned out great! So bright and fun.
The next card has a nice big space for you to decorate it any way you like.
You could draw, or paint, or use stickers, or whatever you like. We printed my preschooler’s hand on some of them which was a quick, easy, and fun way to decorate them.
This last thank you card is my favourite!
My eight year old came up with this design with his piano teacher in mind. In case you can’t tell, he thinks his piano teacher is really awesome (and she is).
Simply write down three reasons why you think the person you are thanking is awesome, and I guarantee they will love it!
Free Printable Thank You Cards
We used our regular inkjet desktop printer to print these cards onto matte photo paper. Then simply cut them out, fold down the middle, and you are ready to go.
You can download the colour in card here.
You can download the hand print card here.
You can download ‘you are awesome’ card here.
Each of these printables is an A4 sized pdf file. If you are printing on US ‘letter sized’ paper be sure to select ‘fit’ or ‘shrink to fit’ from your printer options.
Please remember that the printables at picklebums.com are for personal use only, you may not sell, share, or link directly to these files.
Do you give teacher gifts each year?
I often find it really tricky to come up with teacher gift ideas. Teachers are so important in our lives and we really want to thank them for all they do, so a cute mug or a box of chocolates just doesn’t seem like enough!
What is your go to teacher gift idea?
If you’ve got some great teacher gift ideas I’d love for you to share them in a comment below so we can all add them to our lists and thank the awesome teachers in our lives!

These are wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing – I will use them with my class as I want them to send them to people in the school who have helped them this year.

These pdf’s have a password on them so I cannot open. Have you posted the password somewhere? Thanks

I’m sorry you are having trouble with the printables. You need to open the pdfs in a pdf reader such as adobe acrobat. You can not open the printables in graphics editing software as that is against the terms of use, which is why the password requests pops up. Hope that helps.
