Some days are all sunshine and roses… and other days are all tantrums and dirty looks.
Have your kids ever lost the plot in a public place?

Very cute picture! I posted about tantrums with similar pictures today too!
I’ve been pretty lucky with Lil; she’s too shy to have really lost the plot when we’re out. I’m sure she’s just working up to it though!
My kids are full of attitude no matter where they are. Enjoy!
Been there too , hope it was short lived .
What I find difficult is when both my kids lose it at the saw time. It hasn’t happened in public….yet…..and for that I am thankful. :)
Yep, they have both had their turn, one bad one each. Nearly to the point where you are just about to break down on park yourself the floor of the toilet roll aisle and cry. lol, thankfully its only been once.
Oh yes, Annie used to regularly spit the dummy in the library and run off and hide – often outside the library.
Heidi would scream and try to escape whenever we were in shopping centres. When she was little she would scream till she fell asleep in the pram. I didn’t realise at the time it was the autism classic “meltdown followed by shutdown”.
Now Annie just does the “Seriously Mum!” or “Whatever!” hair toss and eye roll :: sigh ::
Oh I know where you’re coming from. My kids on the whole are pretty good. That said, they have had some dozy hissy fits in public. I remember doing my grocery shopping and my son, balling, yelling you name it, I just proceeded to do my shopping as quickly as I could with him following toe. Everytime I turned the aisle eveyone at the registers would be looking at me and I was thinking ‘ripper I am THAT mother in their eyes!’ lucky it’s not too often.
Ha Ha! This brings back a memory that made me shudder at the time, and smile now. I almost miss those days (almost!). Big M and Little M started acting up at the library. With all of the noise they were causing I just needed to get out out of the quiet place quick!!! I scooped up Little M and dragged Big M by the arm… dropping shoes and books the whole way. I’m sure I was quite fun to watch! Thanks for the memory;)
It brings back my memory that I just closed the car door with 5 kids in it and walk away to realize five minutes later that it didn’t make much sense to leave them there and go home by myself and that I better turn around before getting arrested…smile
