Things I know…

Posted on March 11, 2011 10 Comments

I know that trying to get organised for the Aussie Bloggers Conference is a lot more tricky than I thought.

I know that shopping for clothes with a friend is way better than doing it on your own.

I know that a baby with a snotty nose means a very tired Mama.

I know that the baby with the snotty nose is damn lucky he’s cute, especially when he screams (and I mean screams) for hours in the middle of the night.

I know that I love the girl’s new teacher almost as much as they do.

I know that it makes me feel a lot better that I am not alone in letting my baby eat all kinds of dubious stuff. Thanks for sharing everyone!

I know that life is so “totally unfair” for all the big kids in our house. “It’s so unfair, everything is so unfair”

I know that if I hear someone whine about things being “unfair” one more time my head will explode and my brains will come flying out my nose, and that really would be unfair.

I know that it’s been a while since I’ve flogged my blog on a Friday so I am jumping onto that band wagon with he lovely Glowless, as well as playing along with Yay For Home’s ‘Things I know’.

Thanks for flogging, Kate! I think my son’s proper first words will be either an expletive or “lucky you’re cute”.

It’s not fair … ahhh yes, those words are only too familiar. Your words reminded me of a reflection verse I use at Scouts, so I quickly did another post tonight with it (yeah I probably should have waited until tomorrow to activate it, but I am one for instant gratification).

Sick kids are such hard work. I still tell mine they’re lucky their cute – or I’d probably sell them on ebay. (It’s okay they know I’m joshing.) Your little man is rather cute!

You know you are going to have to bring ear plugs, get raging drunk and pass out so you don’t hear him right??

Your son IS pretty damn cute! Sounds like a common thing that parents say … I know I say it all the time to my daughter, especially when middle of the night screaming is involved. I totally agree with the clothes shopping one as well. Great list of things you know :)
