Things I Thought I Knew.

Posted on September 23, 2011 12 Comments

I thought I knew how to type… then I got this new lapt top with the crazy keyboard.

I thought I knew what the big boy was doing… but obviously not or I would have stopped him from breaking a shelf in the fridge!

I thought making pavlova was hard… but actually it’s pretty easy.

I thought I knew how to say no… but my To Do list begs to differ.

I thought we had run out of sultanas… but there seems to be a number of them in my bra.

I thought it was spring… but looking outside I guess I am wrong.

I thought I knew how to say the bloggy word ‘Meme’… until I heard someone else say it.

I thought walking might curb the climbing a little… I was wrong. (lets hope I am wrong about the impending ER visit too)

What do you know? Or think you know? Or don’t know at all?

I have a climber too. He’s been walking now for 16 months but still prefers climbing. No ER visit yet (I may have just jinxed myself!) I have no idea how to say “meme”. Linky is much easier ;)

I hope you haven’t jinxed yourself!
I’m basing my assumption on his predecessor who was also a climber and who needed his head stitched when we was a few months older than this one is now :)
      And apparently it’s ‘meeeeeme’…. LOL

I never know when to say no either – a very bad and inconvenient habit! I also have a little climber – she likes climbing on chairs and on the kiddie table and looks proud as punch when she does it (my expression more closely resembles panic…)

As for the sultanas… those things get everywhere!

I am so glad that I am not the only one with a selection of snacks in my bra!

I have long wondered how to pronounce meme! (Now I do know from your comment. Phew – I will sleep better!).

I’m going to jinx myself and say my boy is not a climber. Well to be honest he tries but just really seems to lack a good climbing ability. I’m hoping it stays that way.

ah yes, my boy is just the same. Balancing on top of the table, proud as anything!

    Oh Kate,
Those photos are just great…but Mr Cheeky Monkey he is for sure…good luck with his adventurous nature.. “I remember him tucked into you in March” now where does that time go?

ah yes he’s a cheeky bugger, and so grown up these days that he’s not coming to any more bloggy events!

Your post made me giggle. Really hope there is no impending ER visit.

Is it pronounced meem? because that’s how I’ve been saying it.
