Valentine’s Day Playdough Invitation to Play
Setting up a Valentine’s themed playdough activity is quick and easy.
Grab your favourite playdough, whether that is homemade (I love this easy microwave playdough recipe) or shop bought, in some fun colours. We chose pink, purple and red.
You can also collect some loose parts and other items to go with the Valentine’s theme.
We used:
- pony beads
- mini craft sticks
- pipe cleaners
- cut up straws
- googly eyes
- mini cupcake liners
You could also use buttons, pom poms, glass gems, foam hearts, sequins or anything else that takes your fancy!
Free Printable Valentine’s Playdough Mats
To celebrate Valentine’s Day we’ve made four fun playdough mats!
Each mat has an image and a suggestion which is designed to encourage creativity and imagination. There are no right or wrong ways to play with these playdough mats, so if your bunch of flowers is actually a bunch of monsters and if your chocolates are decorated with slime, that’s totally fine!
There is a heart to decorate, a bouquet that needs some flowers, some chocolates to decorate, and a love bug to decorate.
