Finally, my skills are recognised!

I was chopping up the chicken for dinner last night when Zoe popped up at my elbow. She watched for a moment or two then said, in a very earnest voice;
“Mummy, you are good at chopping that chicken!”

I was eating dinner last night, finishing up the last of my drink when Izzy remarked;
Mama, you’re a good drinker!”

I was doing a bit of scrapping on the computer this afternoon, trying to finish up a few Christmas presents ready to be printed, clicking away happily. The girls were playing Tux Paint on the other computer next to me. Zoe looked over and said;
“Mummy, you are good at clicking that mouse you know.”
And Izzy added “And at making pictures, almost as good as us!”

Oh it is so nice to finally have someone congratulate me on my skills. I am sure my Mum must be so proud to know that she raised a daughter who is good at chopping chicken, drinking and clicking the mouse!
