‘Because’ Cards – free printable notecards and envelopes

At the end of last year the kids and I made some thank you cards (check out the free printable templates).

One of them was the “You are awesome because…” card. It’s such a fun and easy way to send a card with a really lovely thoughtful personal message… just come up with three reasons why the person you are giving it to is awesome. Everyone who received one of those cards just loved it, so I decided we should make some more.

The kids and I came up with a few other ‘because’ statements to go on these cards…

‘You are the best because…’
‘You are my friend because…’
‘I love you because…’

And we did another ‘you are awesome because..’ card because, well, it’s awesome!

Then I set about turning these because phrases into printable notecards with matching envelopes.

These printables are A4 sized pdf files, you will need a pdf reader such as adobe acrobat to open them. If you are printing on US ‘letter sized’ paper be sure to select ‘fit’ or ‘shrink to fit’ from your printer options.

These would make a great personalised Valentines message, or a fabulous thank you card, or just a fun little note to make someone you care about smile.

I secretly smuggled some of these into my kids lunch boxes today… just so they know that I love them, and that I think they are awesome!

  1. Wow, these are spectacular… I don’t know how I missed them?? Thank you very much my youngster is finally getting into writing cards! Thank you cards, just because cards, etc. These will come in handy!
