How to set up a city play dough activity.

You can use any play dough you like for this city play dough activity. We used our easy microwave play dough recipe and added paint to make bright coloured dough.

We also added a selection of loose parts and accessories to make it extra fun. You can add whatever you happen to have on hand, no need to buy anything special.

• toy cars
• small stones
• small wood pieces
• small wooden trees
• mini craft sticks
• wooden shapes

You could also use:

• pipe cleaners
• leaves
• sticks
• cut straws (they make good poles for the signs)
• bottle tops (they make good wheels for play dough cars)
• toothpicks
• wooden blocks
