Party Nightmares
It’s normal to have nightmares about mini figures right before you host a Lego party for twelve 5-7 year old boys… right?

A lego party would be AWESOME!!!!!!!! SO much fun!!!!! We havent really been that into parties, have always done small family ones so are yet to venture fully into the party world!
That photo of the lego men is so cool…it makes me laugh looking at them:)….a Lego party is such a great idea, simple but something that most kids love…like Alana so far we’ve only had small family parties as well..the best ones I’ve been to though are the ones where they are simple – plenty of opportunities for the kids to run around outside and the old traditional games like pin the tail on the donkey, pass the parcel, musical chairs, treasure hunt still work a treat.
Personally I think parents put too much pressure on themselves to put on these extravaganza parties when kids for the most part just love the opportunity to hang out with other kids, running around and playing some games – Lego would sure to be a hit.
Oh dear! It is epic isn’t it!! We’re all in June/July here so it’s a busy season for us! I definitely think we should do ‘less’ than what we tell ourselves we need to. And I think that parties have changed a lot since ‘I was a kid’ where newspaper pass the parcels, a $2 pin the tail on the donkey and some yummy party food on paper plates was the norm! Pinterest is making us into over achievers a little I think! Good luck! :)
Nightmares are definitely in order, for the 5-7 yr old boys, not the lego.
Speaking of lego check out this really cool lego artwork http://thisiscolossal.com/?s=lego
Oooh thanks so much for that links! So much cool Lego stuff!
That clown minifigures would give me nightmares for sure.
Heidi had a pool party earlier this year. I had nightmares for about a week before that someone would drown.
So glad I am not alone with my party nightmares!
I am pleased to say that everyone made it through the party intact… though I did send all those boys home totally hyped up on sugar! LOL
Sending them home on sugar high is better than having the stick around on a sugar high.
