This week I had the crazy idea to share a week of Christmas printables on my blog.
I’ve made sewn paper stockings, colour your own wrapping paper, plus a full colour version, and some fun little paper decorations, and today it was time to make some gift tags.
As I worked on the gift tags Izzy wandered in, looked over my shoulder and said, “That’s nice Mum… but it’s a bit boring.”
Boring!!! My hearts, and stars, and stripes, and patterns were boring!?!?!
“You should make something cuter Mum” she said, “….like penguins.”
Penguins? Hmmmm penguins….
I ignored the penguin idea for a little while, but it just wouldn’t go away, so I ditched my boring gift tags and started drawing penguins.
Of course, as often happens here, things got a little crazy!
“Put a hat on them!”
“Give them glasses!”
“That one is called LuLu!”
But crazy didn’t turn out so bad…. meet the Pickle Penguins!
I think I like Betty the best…

No, I don’t sell any of my graphics at the moment. In the past I ran a digital scrapbooking site, so some of the graphics were available for sale there, and I might look at it again in the future… when life is not so busy! LOL
