Real Life Wednesday

My floor is never clear and clean.

I spend my life picking things up off the floor and cursing the never-ending cycle of cleaning.

And sometimes, I give up.

I use the vacuum or the mop and push the toys around the floor as I ‘clean’ it. Ok so the floor doesn’t get super clean, and I occasionally suck up a random sock, block or hair clip… but that’s real life in our house.

If your life is as ‘real’ as mine is, please feel free to share your ‘Real Life Wednesday’ stories too.

Tell us about those crazy little things that happen that make up the every day. The things that are so ‘real’ they are ‘unreal’. The things that make you laugh, because if you didn’t laugh you’d cry. Those kinds of things.

Let us all know that real life happens to us all, and often it is beautiful or special, even as it is horrible or insane.

This is great. Love it! My son’s ENTIRE bedroom floor was covered in Lego’s today. I made him clean the whole thing up. Pity I didn’t take a picture.

I also like to push things around with the vacuum rather than move them! :) Miss 2 likes to help with the sweeping which is fun for all! :) Thanks for the linky! Looking forward to looking into some other ‘real lives’ this week! :)

I know! It’s like the floor is a giant magnet and everything is made of metal and just gets pulled onto it no matter how often you pick it all up! Oh, hang on, did I just describe gravity?

The floor. The kids love it when I make granola but I hate all the little crunchy bits they leave around the place!

I love this idea! Nothing to link up this week but I can probably come up with a whole list of them for future link-ups. :)

I love this link-up. So many laundry confessions. I’m off to show hubby now- it makes our laundry look very normal. :)

You just described my approach to cleaning! I just move stuff around to ‘clean’, who can be bothered constantly bending over and picking things up that will just end up back on the floor anyway. I just push them all in to a pile in the corner and eventually my daughter will spread them all over the room again!
