Things I just Don’t Understand.
I just don’t understand…
How can my small child sleep in his own bed all week, but suddenly need to be in mine last night?
How can my small child take up so much space in one very big bed?
How can my small child produce so much pee that it totally floods that very big bed?
Why did I only have to mention to one person that my small child had done so great transitioning from night nappies three weeks ago without a single accident… to totally jinx us?
How does my small child know that when he throws his arms around me and says ‘I wuv you more than the ipad’ that all will be forgiven?
Are there things that you just don’t understand?
Leave a comment and share them below, if we can’t explain them we can at least commiserate!
Oh Kate! I get soo much understanding from your posts! I can truly relate to alot of them. I admire your writing style and strive to be as good someday. Thank you for all the smiles and empathy you provide by sharing your personal experience with us ;) Wishing you all a dry nights sleep!
thank you!
I dont understand why my 11 year old son wakes almost nightly scared of some sound he imagined or maybe heard a tap dripping but a massive thunderstorm that has me hiding under the pillow is awesome. I also dont uunderstand why said child will not venture to try any new food at home and needs to eat outside or in another room if there is even a whiff of vinegar around but will try frog legs and goat at Scout camp and LOVE the goat !
Children are total mysteries! And just when we think we have them figured out… they grow up a little a change!
I had 3 children. They had 3 meals a day. We had a garden . Canned & froze vegetables. One could never get enough, one ate very little-mainly meat(we raised cows & hogs so always meat) & bless his heart the 3rd child ate a variety or at least tasted it. All 3 grew up in same house & sat at same table. I worried one would starve, another be overweight & did not worry about the other. They now have their own families & guess what……they have a variety of eaters.
