Three Little Things From My Day…

Posted on October 28, 2008 1 Comment

Chasing my tail…
We’ve been almost late for everything today and it looks like dinner will be no different. I wonder if the rushing from thing to thing will ever end?

Worrying…
It looks our new rooster may be on his last legs. I’ve had a good read of Back Yard Poultry and I am pretty sure he has Mareks disease and no amount of TLC is going to help much… still we are crossing our fingers and toes but at the same time talking a lot about death.

Harvesting…
I forgot to go to the shops on the way home from kinder so I am scraping together a salad from our garden to go with dinner. It is surprising how many edible things there is out there, despite feeling like we have nothing growing at the moment. It’s a good thing though that the Twindoes are obsessed with lettuce at the moment!

Oh no! *Hugs* about the rooster… I’ve just been reading my new chook book and Mareks sounds nasty. I hope the others don’t have it :(
