I had to wrap some early Christmas presents on the weekend.
I wrapped some books, and some bowls of yummy goodies and a couple of toys, and then I got to the pile of little gifts we were giving to my niece and nephews and wondered how on earth I was going to wrap all these odd shaped bits and pieces, along with some money?
Then I had a brain wave… I suddenly remembered the little plastic stockings you buy at the shops full of lollies and junky toys and decided I would make my own!
A few minutes later, as my printer was spitting out stocking shapes I was unpacking the sewing machine!
These little sewn paper stockings are really quick and easy to make. Just pick one of the designs below, download the pdf and print out both pages. Then you just need to cut around the stockings and sew them together. Fill them with goodies then sew the top of the stocking on and you are done!
We filled ours with gel pens, fun little erasers, mini note books, sweet treats and some money. You could also add gift cards, glow sticks, stickers, jewelery, or just about any other small item that takes your fancy.
Are you wrapping presents yet??
I always leave it till the last minute but I am determined not to this year!
Keep an eye out for more Christmas printables around here this week! You can find all my other Christmas printables here.
