Alphabet Find and Colour Activity
This alphabet find and colour activity is a super fun way to practice letter recognition with your kids.
Our fun find and colour activity pages are quick and easy to print, and lots of fun to do! All you need is some coloured pencils or markers and a keen eye to spot all the items.
Challenge your kids to find all the letters on the list. They are in both upper and lower cases, and in a variety of font styles, which is great for practicing pre-reading and reading skills.
You can also make up your own challenges to work on other skills such as name recognition or sight words – “Can you find all the letters in your name?” “Can you find all the letters in the these words… “etc.
Or ask the kids to find and colour whatever you can see – ‘colour three Cs orange, five Gs blue!” It’s also fun race each other and see who can find all of the items on the list first!
You can download this Alphabet find and colour activity page here.
This printable is an A4 sized pdf file. You will need a pdf reader such as adobe acrobat to open it. If you are printing on US ‘letter sized’ paper be sure to select ‘fit’ or ‘shrink to fit’ from your printer options.

I recently found your website on Pinterest. I loooove your free ! Not only for kidactivities but also for myself. How do you create these lovely printables? Like the find and colour printables or the planning printables? I’d love to know. Love, Maartje
Thanks for your kind words Maartje. I create my printables mostly with adobe software.
Yay, another one! My kids ask for these all the time (my 4 year old in particular will do them over and over). Thanks so much for making these Kate. What a generous use of your time and talents!
And I just have to say that I love your instastories – keeping it real and making me feel normal, thanks!

Love to use your printables with my grandkids, and also with the students I mentor in our elementary school. I would love to see some with animal themes.
This is a good one – I’ve been struggling with teaching my 4 year old the alphabet, so its good to have something I carry in bag for when we have downtime or we’re driving someplace.

We love your find and colour. We were wondering if you could make some more with these themes:
back to school, autumn, Thanksgiving, Winter, earth day
Thanks so much for your suggestions! I’ll add them to my list, fingers crossed I find some time to make some more!
Thanks so much for providing these! So much fun for my children and me! We were able to find FIVE Ww, ELEVEN Hh, and FOURTEEN Tt. Do you have any plans to update the total numbers?
So cool that you found extras… usually I muck up and have too few of something not too many!
I probably won’t update the amounts on this one, but if I’ve got time I’ll edit it to remove the extras at some point.

I recently came across your page and I must say it is everything I love in one place! I love to craft, organize and make my own activities as well. Your website is all that and so much more! Thank you for taking the time to write about your activities, share pictures and printables for us. I found a lot of inspiration through your page and I wanted to thank you for the passion you dedicate to your website! Your creativity shines above all!
Love your find & colours! And so does my Miss 2 and a half. We would love if you could do a birthday theme one for leading up to her b’day of for the kids at her party. Also is there somewhere on your site that you have all of your Seek & Find’s listed so i can check I’ve got them & download them all?
A birthday themed find and colour is a great idea… unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to get to it any time soon.
I also need to work on a page with all the find and colours, that is on my list and will hopefully pop up soon.
hello miss kate … can I change the language using my country’s language … thank you very much
