Road trips, school Christmas plays, waiting for relatives to arrive, waiting for Christmas dinner to be served… There is often a lot of waiting associated with Christmas if you are a kid. And waiting is boring, unless you have something fun to do.
To make all the waiting a little more bearable for the kids (and a little less whiney for you) print out these fun ‘Design a decoration’ drawing prompts!
Better than regular, boring, colouring in pages, these decoration pages are designed to encourage kids to use their imagination and creativity and make their own unique designs.
You could zentangle the decorations, or how about decorating them with a theme? Star wars decorations? Or Harry Potter decorations would be popular at our house!
There are three different christmas decorations to design…
Christmas trees.
I’m not sure why we have a Swedish flag tree, but I like it!
Christmas baubles.
These Christmas baubles are full of swirling magic! Some of them are even cracking because they can’t contain all the magic within them! My Harry Potter fan designed these!
Christmas stars.
I sat with my smallest child and we filled these stars with zentangles together. It was such a lovely, relaxing way to spend some time together!
