The kids will love using these free printable fireworks drawing prompts for drawing and creating their own fireworks for new years or any other celebration.
They are a great way to keep the kids busy on New Year’s Eve and they’d be great for Chinese New Year, the Fourth of July, or any other celebration that includes fireworks.
Fireworks can be loud and overwhelming for lots of kids, so drawing them can be a great way to help a child work through their fears, or simply take part in some fireworks fun that doesn’t involve lots of loud noise!
If you’ve got a child who is unsure about fireworks, watching some videos about fireworks can be a great play to start. This is also a great way to get kids thinking about what the fireworks look like and how they might draw them. You can find lots of interesting, kid-friendly, fireworks videos at The Kids Should See This.
These drawing printables are a little different to regular colouring pages, as they are just a starting point. You need to do more than just colour to make these pictures, you need to use your imagination and creativity.
You can simply print out the drawing pages and use them with pencils or markers, or you could use them with paints, or find some glittery materials and use them to make a collage. There is no right or wrong way to complete these drawing prompts, so the more creative you can be, the better!
