My kids love to draw, and we do a lot of drawing. We started out with 20 ideas, now there are more than 40 drawing ideas on this page for you to try!
Drawing is also a great learning activity with lots of fine motor skill and development, problem solving, language development and social learning opportunities, as well as buckets of pre-reading and pre-writing skills. Drawing is a way for children to process their world, to represent and share their ideas and to explore new skills and information.
There are so many fun and interesting drawing ideas and activities to try!
Here are some of our favourite drawing ideas and activities.
Do your kids love to draw?
What is your favourite art supply to draw with??

I have been visiting this post every day since you published it. My daughter loves nothing more than drawing and it’s been fun to provide her with different invitations.
I even found some chalkboard contact paper and thought I could use those on some blocks instead of paint (because we don’t have any).
Thanks for your fab round-up.

Loving this list! I’ve been including lots of different drawing prompts the last couple of weeks at preschool which the kids are loving so this post is very timely :)
