Remembering

Posted on April 27, 2012 4 Comments

Noah

It’s the way he rolled over at 6:30 this morning, and before his eyes were even fully open, said “Muuum…. Cake?”

Silly Morgan

It’s the way he giggled like crazy when I chased him with my fish kissing face.

crazy Izzy

It’s the way she talked non-stop the whole way home after school camp.

zpe drawing

It’s the way she effortlessly goes from ‘almost grown up’ busy drawing fashion designs, to ‘still a little kid’ busy making ‘disgusting pizzas’ from mud and flowers.

It’s the way he makes me laugh as he stalks mice in his socks and undies.

It’s all these things I want to remember.

You remember the lovliest things, Kate. Though I’m having heart palpitations about the mice in your house! Eeeek!!!

Ugh the mice are horrible… total plague out here at the moment and it doesn’t help that we are renovating so have lots of ways for them to get in.

      We caught five just today!

    GORGEOUS post Kate!
    And I love your photos.
I had to giggle about the cake request at 6:30am…cute :)
Thanks for the inspiration from this post. I uploaded several recent photos to Photobucket last night & was a little stumped about how to entwine them into a blog post. After some sleep & reading your blog this morning, I knew exactly how to use the photos to journal our recent happenings. Thank you x

My little boy( also Noah) is 2 and a half and vomited a few weeks ago. Now everytime he eats anything he turns to me first and says “Mummy, I not bomit? I eat food but not bomit?” My reply is always “Yes nono, you can eat but you wont vomit. Its okay”. “Okay mum. I eat. Its okay noah.”Its so funny and cute and I enjoy our little conversations more and more as he learns to put more and more words together :)
