Today I…
*Sewed a birthday present for a small girl we know and love.
*Watched Post Man Pat… and his black and white cat…
*Made a HUGE batch of vegan spaghetti sauce. Some for us, and some post baby dinners for a friend.
*Wondered if other 4-6 year olds can put on their own seat belts.
*Made pink play dough.
*Watched my girls almost master tap… almost.
*Bought a birthday present from the lovely Eco Toys
*Drank red cordial and wished that it had bubbles in it.
*Twittered.
*Brushed four sets of teeth, twice.
*Thought about learning to crochet thanks to this blog. (thanks Dee!)
*Silently cursed our ISP for having such a tiny download limit and putting us back to snails-net for the rest of the week.
*Swept the floor three times… and I can still find crunchy bits.
*Hid in the kitchen to secretly eat biscuits and not have to share.
*Listened to the small boy snore via the baby monitor.
Not a bad day really…
Ahh sounds so familiar to my days here too, minus the 4 sets of teeth to brush, geesh how exhuasting lol
KAte – I am very crotchety (ha – no pun intended!) that you sent me to the Attic blog. I LOVE a good bit of crochet – and now I need to find MORE time in my day!
goodness me.what a busy and productive day!!!WTG girl!!
Oh… I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one hiding in the kitchen to have a biscuit all to myself!
:-)
FYI my boy does his own belt LOL.
lol – I’m glad I’m not the only one who hides away so they don’t have to share their goodies :)
Sounds like a very good day!
totally recommend Country Bumpkin’s how to book on crochet… (on anything actually!) step by step photos and instructions… FABBO! I crocheted Bronwen a hat (yes, wearable! :P) within a week of picking up the hook and wool!

We just mastered the seat belt the last few weeks! Not bad for a 4 year old, eh? Good luck with it, it does make things soooooo much easier!
