Five Little Elves Song Lyrics.
This adorable Christmas counting song is sung to the tune of ‘Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed’,
Here’s the Five Little Elves song lyrics:
Five Little Elves Song
Five little elves jumping on the sleigh,
One jumped off and ran away!
Mama called Santa and Santa did say,
“No more elves jumping on the sleigh!”
Continue the song with four, three, two and one elf, until no more elves are left, then sing..
No more elves jumping on the sleigh,
They all jumped off and ran away!
Five Little Elves Printable Puppets
To make singing this song even more fun, we’ve made a set of cheeky little elf puppets and a sleigh to go along with the song!
Kids will have fun acting out the song, and counting down as each elf jumps on the sleigh and then runs away!
To make the Christmas Elves puppets you’ll need to download the free printable (scroll down for the link), and print the elves and the sleigh. You can print the elves onto regular printer paper and laminate them, but the sleigh will need to be printed onto cardstock so it will stand up on it’s own.
After cutting out the elves we taped them onto craft sticks to turn them into puppets, but you could also glue them onto clothes pegs so you could peg them onto the sleigh.
Then we cut out the sleigh and folded the tabs at each side to make it stand up.
We added a few Christmas decorations to set the scene and we were ready to sing!
The Five Little Elves free printable puppet set includes five cheeky elf puppets, a sleigh, and a printable page with song words.
This printable is an A4 sized pdf file, you will need a pdf reader such as adobe acrobat to open it. It will fit to print on US ‘letter sized’ paper, just be sure to select ‘fit’ or ‘shrink to fit’ from your printer options to allow for printer margins.

The second page gives a failure (page is black) :(
Can someone send me the printable version?
The pdf has three pages and they all load fine when I test them. Perhaps there was a glitch with your internet and my server, and trying again may resolve your issue. Also make sure you are opening the file with a pdf reader like acrobat.
Would love to print but don’t know the password!
I’m sorry you are having trouble printing the pdf file.
You need to open the file in a pdf reader (such acrobat), not image editing software. You will only get a prompt for a password if you are trying to open the pdf file in some kind of editing software as that is not allowed. Hope that helps.
