Challenge your kids to find all the items on the list (we’ve included images as well as words for beginning readers) and get them to colour in each one as they count it.
Or ask them to find and colour whatever you choose – “colour 4 four apples and six pears!” Or ask them to count and colour their favourite images.
You could also have the kids race each other and see who can find all of the items on the list first!
You can also make up your own find and colour challenges to work on whatever skills you’d like to target. Challenge your kids to colour all the items that start with a particular letter, or challenge them to find which two items add up to 12, or only the items that have a total that is an even number.
