Road Trip Drawing Prompts – Free Printables.

Road Trip Drawing Prompts - free printables to keep the kids buys in the car

We are taking a bit of a road trip! Yay!

When you stuff four kids and two adults into a car for hours on end, you need a few distractions to stop you all losing your minds!

We usually pack a few small toys (the dino crayons in the photo above double as toys and crayons!), some books, stickers, pens and pencils along with the kids’ journals and some drawing activities.

For our upcoming trip I made up some new drawing prompts that are perfect for a road trip.

‘Where does the road go?’

‘Make your own road signs.’

‘What’s in the truck?’

‘Who is driving down the road?’

These will save your sanity on your next road trip, or maybe just the next rainy day! Just click on each of the images above to download the free printable pdf file for each drawing prompt.

How do you keep your kids busy on long car trips?

{disclosure: We were given the Dino Crayons by Micador. I was not asked, nor obligated to blog about them.}

    Sometimes I think you read my mind Kate. This is a ‘game’ we always play in the car but without the drawing bits and pieces. This has added a whole new level to our game – thank you so much!!!!

    Great Idea! My boys have a clip board for the car and trips that is 1/2 the size of a piece of paper ( thetripclip.com ). They love it!!
