Make a Shark Bookmark
Making these cute colour in shark book marks is easy, and you only need a few supplies.
To make these bookmarks you’ll need:
- White cardstock or regular printer paper.
- Pencils or markers
- Scissors
- Laminator and lamination pouches (optional)
- Hole punch and tassel (optional)
- Free printable shark bookmarks (scroll down for download link)
We like to print our bookmarks onto cardstock so they are a little stronger, to make them last even longer you can also laminate them. You could also print them onto regular printer paper and laminate them.
To make the shark bookmark, print out the free designs (download below) and colour in your favourite one, or colour them all in and make shark bookmarks for all your friends!
We like to use markers to colour in the bookmarks so they are nice and bright and bold, but you could use pencils, crayons, or any other art materials you like.
Once the bookmarks are coloured in, carefully cut around the edges. If you chose the ‘Take a bite out of a book’ design you might like to cut out the shark bites from the top and bottom of the bookmarks too!
If you want to make a double sided bookmark, place two designs back to back and secure them with glue. If you are going to laminate your bookmarks, place them in a lamination pouch (you should be able to fit a few in one pouch) and run them through your laminator and then cut around them again.
If you’d like to add a tassel, simple punch a hole in the top or bottom of the bookmark and add a tassel, or some wool, or whatever other decoration you’d like.
Now your bookmarks are read to save your place in your favourite book!
